Record-Play to host panel at Wildscreen Festival 2014

On Thursday 23 October Record-Play will be hosting a panel on sync and music supervision, sourcing and licensing at Bristol’s legendary Wildscreen Festival (10am, Arnolfini).

The week long event will fill delegates into the world of wildlife documentary making, from filming under water to talks from some of the industry’s leading voices, including Sir David Attenborough.

Our panel will feature R-P’s Daniel Cross moderating, with words of wisdom coming from Isobel Palos, the Head of Film & TV at Beggars Group, freelance sound designer and composer Simon Connor and Natasha Pullin, Business Affairs Executive for Music Rights in relation to new music commissions for the Natural History Unit at the BBC.

On hand for additional advice to attendees will be R-P’s Music Supervision and Licensing Manager Nicholas Burman and Business Affairs Executive in the Music Copyright team with specific responsibility for Factual Content at the BBC, Danny Neale.

Both members of Record-Play will be available throughout the day to answer any questions on music supervision and licensing – for enquiries please e-mail nicholas [at] record-play [dot] net.
