Tablet technology hasn’t been around for long, but already the nay-sayers are predicting it’ll soon become obsolete. In fact, almost a quarter of surveyed UK company CIOs think it’ll die out within just five years. Less surprisingly, a majority also see the extinction of landline telephones and PCs during the same time-frame, although that too seems a little presumptuous considering even CDs haven’t quite died out yet…
