The Digital Economy Act, despite being already implemented, is now being called to be under review from the grass roots of the Liberal Democrat party (UK). The act included rights holders to obtain injunctions compelling ISPs to block access to services hosting content without authorisation. As piracy becomes an ever worsening problem aren’t these necessary despite their unpopularity?
