10 May Ready Or Not, the new Pro Evolution Soccer soundtrack is on the way…
Record-Play are extremely excited to announce our latest music supervision project, which sees us working with the legendary Japanese game developer Konami. We’ll be curating and licensing the soundtrack for this year’s edition of Pro Evolution Soccer, the much-loved football franchise that has for many years offered fans the most authentic football gameplay experience available.
Our task is to provide Pro Evolution Soccer gamers with music that hits similar heights. We’re currently putting together a truly exciting soundtrack that will match the silky skills and energetic thrills of the new PES edition, the details of which will be revealed in due course. For now though we’re happy to share yesterday’s announcement trailer, featuring not only stunning clips from the game but some fiery bars by South Central rapper Glenda ‘Gizzle‘ Proby. Her track ‘Ready Or Not’ offers plenty of attitude and intensity, demonstrating the talent that has seen Gizzle credited on tracks by Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign and many more.

UPDATE 1: In preparation for the world’s foremost video game trade event, E3 2018, Konami released a special trailer for PES 2019 that further shows off the graphics, new techniques and iconic players featured in the game (which was very well-received). For the new trailer we sourced and licensed ‘Jungle’ by X Ambassadors & Jamie N Commons, which helps build the sense of anticipation with a strident, bluesy beat and Commons’ passionate vocals.
