Another indie label describes Spotify as “not a viable way forward for the music industry” (the goth/drone label Projeckt). With indie labels gaining more and more of a backbone in the new markets, are we likely to start to see a big split between the all encompassing big labels giving away their music, and the more realistic indie titles trading in a more traditional way?
