26 Apr Raising the Dead at Barcelona Design Week
Our latest music consultancy work celebrates both the launch of Barcelona Design Week and the lives of some sadly departed pioneers, with a transformative new project.
The concept comes from award-winning creative agency Folch Studio, who have commissioned sculptor Wilfrid Wood to create six clay caricatures of iconic figures from several disciplines, each of whom passed away recently. We were tasked with finding musicians to collaborate on the project, providing a musical aspect to complement six videos of Wood’s work.
We didn’t have to look far. Ethereal Catalan electronic duo Desert proved the perfect choice, enthusiastically engaging with the brief in order to produce six brand new pieces, one for each video in the series.
