Analysis and research by Experian Marketing Services has made clear the huge growth enjoyed by Pinterest and Instagram over the last year, with the sites increasing visits by 5,124% and 17,319% respectively. Pinterest is now the third most visited social network on the web (it was at the 188 spot last year) while Instagram has bounded from 609th to 11th. Facebook, Instagram’s new owner, still rules the roost, with Twitter 2nd and Google+ in 4th.
